Wow, great site for old memories. I used to play in a band that covered “Song Within a Song” and I still own my Mellotron that was used way back when. Camel was one of the greatest prog bands of all time.
I think it is one of the most fascinating aspects of their music, the change of moods within a song. The change of moods, but done in a very natural and convincing way, never to extreme.
I didn’t know what a Mellotron was (but heard it mention while I was reading the album reviews) so I looked it up in Wikipedia. Wow, intriguing instrument!

I love Song within a Song. I found it on Youtube, although unfortunately not with live video, but still a live version of the album A Live Record.
